Job summary

Trail Appliances is seeking a Delivery Driver to provide prompt and courteous pickup and delivery service while maintaining excellent customer service.

You will inspect and load product, assist with minor hookups if required, report damages or errors, and ensure safety procedures are followed. A valid Class 5 license and the ability to maneuver heavy merchandise are required, along with a professional appearance and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to clear a security check.
• Must be able to clear a physical fitness assessment.
• Must provide a valid Class 5 driver's license and acceptable driver’s abstract.
• Must meet eligibility requirements of our insurance policy.
• Ability to safely maneuver merchandise more than 100 lbs.
• Professional appearance and strong communication with diverse teams.

The Role

The Delivery Driver is to provide prompt and courteous pickup and delivery service while maintaining excellent customer service.

What You Will Be Doing

• Ensure prompt and courteous service on pickups and deliveries
• Inspect and load product; assisting with minor hook-ups if required
• Report damages, errors or actions requiring follow up attention
• Ensure all safety processes and procedures are adhered to

To be successful in this role you must

• Clear a security check
• Clear a physical fitness assessment
• Provide a valid Class 5 drivers license and acceptable drivers abstract (our insurance says you have to)
• Meet the eligibility requirements of our insurance policy
• Have the ability to safely maneuver merchandise more than 100lbs (our products are heavy)
• Have a professional appearance
• Enjoy working within a diverse team
• Communicate with internal and external contacts with tact, courtesy, and respect
