• Candidates must attain the ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe proficient manner.
• They must attain experience in the operation of road graders or the ability to be trained to an acceptable level of proficiency in grader operation by Parks Canada.
• Candidates must attain the ability to identify equipment malfunctions, carry out minor maintenance and repairs, determine the cause and effectively report them.
