Job summary

ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services is hiring an On-Site Linen Driver to join the lodge-based team near Cochrane, ON. You will load/unload linen, transport loads up to 35 lbs, and perform routine janitorial duties.

Rotation is 14 days on site and 14 days off site. Transportation is provided from Timmins or Cochrane, with travel allowances for distant areas. A valid Ontario driver’s license (G2 or G) is required; pre-employment D&A and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Previous driving experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Loads product onto the truck daily up to 35 lbs
• Stocks product to par levels and maintains documentation via software
• Report sales, waste, customer concerns, and/or machine malfunctions daily
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and equipment
• Follow safety policies and driving regulations
• Provide friendly, efficient service to customers and co-workers
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Job description

ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services is looking to hire an experienced On-Site Linen Driver / Driver candidates to join our Janitorial Team at our Lodge near Cochrane, ON. The On-Site Linen Driver / Janitor will be responsible for picking up and dropping off linen at the remote lodge site, carry repetitive loads up to 35 lbs, and complete janitorial duties as assigned.

• Transportation is provided out of Timmins or Cochrane, ON
• Travel Allowance is available for some areas that are further away.
• Rotations are 14 days on site/14 days off site
• An Ontario license is required ( G2 or G is acceptable)

Please note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment D&A test and criminal background check

Job Responsibilities

• Loads product onto the truck daily up to 35 lbs
• Stocks product to par levels and maintaining accurate documentation of product levels via appropriate software
• Report sales, waste, customer concerns, and/or machine malfunctions daily
• Report necessary maintenance or repairs needed on vehicle to management
• Maintain, services, and upkeeps cleanliness of vehicle and equipment
• Performs all job duties in a safe manner by adhering to all driving regulations, company safety policies and procedures, and
• Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude towards customers, clients, and co-workers
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
