Groupe TYT INC is seeking an experienced truck driver for a permanent, long-haul role in Canada. The position is bilingual and requires 40 to 70 hours per week.

You will inspect vehicles, perform brake adjustments and emergency repairs, and coordinate with central dispatch. A Class 1 or A license and 1–2 years of experience are required for this role.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year to less than 2 years experience in trucking or equivalent.
• Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
• Possesses Driver's License Class 1 or A.

• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
