Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Delivery Driver in Fort McMurray, Alberta. You will assemble, load, and deliver supplies to scheduled locations, ensuring the vehicle is properly stocked for the route and that deliveries are completed efficiently.

Safe handling of food and equipment, along with maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing pre/post trip inspections, are essential. Strong communication and the ability to follow instructions are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with Q Endorsement and good driving record.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Physical ability to carry out duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver all supplies to the scheduled locations.
• Precede each day’s route by loading truck with required products.
• Unload requested products at delivery site.
• Collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise.
• Return items such as unused food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils.
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized; perform pre & post trip inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Lift 46.5 LB Simultaneously with both hands.

How You Will Make An Impact

You will be responsible for loading food, supplies, or other products (such as machines) and delivering them to various locations in an area.

As a Delivery Driver, You Will

• Assemble and deliver all supplies to the scheduled locations
• Prior to beginning each day’s route, ensure that truck/vehicle is properly loaded with all products required to properly service all scheduled deliveries
• Unload requested products at delivery site
• Collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise
• Return items such as unused food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre & post trip vehicle inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Required to lift 46.5 LB Simultaneously with both hands
