Job summary

Minicards Inc. is seeking a part-time Distribution Driver in Ontario. You will be responsible for loading and unloading, replenishing Minicards at distribution locations, and driving an assigned route that may include GTA-Durham to Burlington.

You will maintain display tidiness and ensure safe, compliant driving. Candidates must own reliable transportation and have 5+ years of driving experience with a valid G-Class license; flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must own reliable transportation (SUV or Van preferable).
• 5+ years of driving experience; a valid G-Class driver's license.
• Flexibility in scheduling including extended days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload material.
• Ensure replenishment of Minicards to distribution locations.
• Drive assigned route (GTA-Durham to Burlington) and follow road maps to plan delivery routes.
• Maintain displays and surrounding area tidiness.
• Drive safely obeying Ontario Highway Traffic Act.

Driver-Distribution-Part Time

Position Summary:

As a distribution driver you are an integral part of the Distribution Team for replenishment of our Minicards. You will be working as an independent contractor, working with a team of dedicated people committed to contribute to the success of the corporation. By participating in achieving the goals of the Distribution Team, you will strengthen the position of Minicards Inc. as a leader in the advertising market.

Responsibilities:

• Load/unload material
• Ensure replenishment of Minicards to distribution locations
• Ability to drive assigned route which could include the GTA-Durham to Burlington
• Maintain the tidiness of displays and surrounding area
• Drive safely obeying the traffic laws of the Ontario Highway Traffic Act
• Follow basic inventory procedures
• Provide customer service to distribution locations
• Physical activity required including frequent bending, reaching, lifting and standing
• Perform other directives as assigned

Requirements:

• Must own reliable transportation (SUV or Van is preferable).
• Must be able to store 3-4 boxes in vehicle at all times
• Ability to keep additional inventory in storage is an asset
• Ability to lift light weight boxes
• Good communication skills are a must
• Ability to communicate via email and text
• 5+ years of driving experience; a valid G-Class driver's license
• Flexibility in scheduling including extended days, evenings and weekends
• Ability to read and understand road maps and plan delivery routes

Compensation:

Salary is based on experience. Gas (%) and parking expenses will be reimbursed
