Job summary

Cardinal Couriers is seeking a Driver with a G license for day shifts in Edwards, Ontario. The position is part-time, 22 hours/week, Monday to Thursday, 11:00am–5:00pm, with an hourly rate of $25.15 CAD. Location: 9460 Mitch-Owens Road, Edwards, ON.

This role involves loading orders, following a preset route, and delivering on time with safety as priority. The ideal candidate has a valid Ontario Commercial license, a clean CVOR, 2–3 years of commercial driving experience, and warehouse

Qualifications

• Minimum G License: 2 years (required)
• Minimum 2-3 years of commercial driving experience
• Clean Ontario driver abstracts and CVOR report
• Valid Ontario Commercial driver’s license in good standing
• Have previous warehouse shipping/receiving experience
• Perform responsibilities safely, in accordance with company policies
• Independent and self-starter with strong communication and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable meeting deadlines and lifting up to 70 lbs

Responsibilities

• Accompany the driver on delivery routes and assist with timely deliveries
• Carry packages to delivery locations and drop-off points
• Complete pick-ups and deliveries in the evening for pre-8am availability
• Assist in loading/unloading materials through repetitive lifting
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and operate equipment safely
• Submit required documentation accurately to supervisor or manager
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and sub trades

Cardinal Couriers is looking for motivated individuals to join our team. This position is responsible for loading orders into an assigned company vehicle and following a predetermined route to ensure that all deliveries are made safely and on time. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced environment that requires driving, lifting, lowering, and carrying packages to ensure damage free delivery.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Accompany the driver on delivery routes and help in timely and accurate deliveries.
• Carry packages to the delivery location and designated drop off points.
• Complete pick-ups and deliveries throughout the evening for pre 8am parcel availability deliveries/pick-ups.
• Participate in loading and unloading materials on outgoing trucks by repetitive lifting.
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and operate company equipment safely.
• Daily submission and completion of all required documentation in an accurate manner, to be submitted to Night Supervisor and/or Operations Manager as soon as possible.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and sub trades.

Who you are:
