Job summary

Nu-Fab in Saskatoon is seeking a Driver Class 1A to join our team. You will deliver trusses and building materials, perform pre- and post-shift inspections, ensure loads are secured, and deliver on time with all required materials.

The role requires a current Class 1A license with air, a clean driving abstract, and a safety‑minded, dependable attitude. Forklift experience is an asset, and knowledge of the City of Saskatoon and surrounding area is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Class 1A with air license is required.
• Clean driving record and safe driving practices expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trusses and building materials to job sites.
• Conduct pre/post shift inspections and complete reports.
• Ensure loads are secured and deliveries are on time.
• Operate equipment and machinery safely as directed.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Keep the truck clean and well maintained.

We are looking for a Driver Class 1A to add to our Team.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Conducting and filling out reports for pre and post shift inspection of equipment
• Ensure load is fully secured
• Deliver trusses and other building materials
• Ensure deliveries are made on time and include all necessary materials
• Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner as instructed
• Conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Keeps truck clean
• Other duties as required

Knowledge

• Current Class 1A with air
• Clear driving abstract
• Forklift experience an asset
• Knowledge of City of and surrounding area
• Understand city bylaws and permit requirements
