Job summary

Sunrise Chick Sales, a division of Sunrise Farms, is seeking a Full Time Class 5 Driver with 5 Ton experience for Abbotsford. Shifts are 4x10 hours, 5:30am–4:00pm, with overtime as needed.

The role combines heavy manual labour (75%) with driving (25%) and requires clean driving history and knowledge of the Lower Mainland. Applicants must be fluent in English, hold a Class 5 license with minimal penalty points, and provide a current driver’s abstract and accident history.

Qualifications

• 75% labour, 25% driving.
• Must be fluent in English, spoken and written.
• Class 5 Driver's License with at least 1 year experience driving 5 Ton; max 4 penalty points.
• Current and original drivers abstract + accident history report required.
• Successful completion of road tests is required.
• Knowledge of Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy manual work and operate a 5 Ton vehicle.
• Deliver and unload products in Abbotsford-area locations.
• Maintain clean, safe driving records and vehicle condition.
• Follow company policies and safety guidelines during all shifts.

Applicants Must

• Be able to perform heavy manual work including frequent hand trucking over long distances. This job is 75% labour and 25% driving.
• Be fluent in English – spoken and written. Legible handwriting a must
• Have Class 5 Driver's License minimum 1 year experience/qualification driving 5 Ton with no more than 4 penalty points in the current year, including no 24 suspensions in the prior 5 years
• Have current and original drivers abstract + accident history report
• Have successful completion of road tests
• Have knowledge of Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley
