Job summary

Superior Propane Inc. is seeking a propane delivery driver based in Drayton Valley, with consideration for Red Deer candidates. You will load, deliver, and transfer propane, maintain a clean vehicle, and use onboard computers to track inventory and print tickets.

Requirements include a Class 3 license with a clean record, high school diploma, and the ability to lift 60 lbs. Overtime may be required, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to customers and transfer between containers.
• Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
• Monitor propane inventory, tank levels, and container sizing using onboard tech; print delivery tickets.
• Complete pre/post vehicle and site inspections and safety checks as required.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher for routing; report issues promptly.
• Work overtime when needed; perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

This role is based out of Drayton Valley. Open to candidates based out of Red Deer as well.

What you’ll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• Fluid Hauling is an asset
• Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically on-board truck computers.
• Ability to maintain and conduct the highest standard of safety at all times.

Salary: $24 - $30 hourly (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
