Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking a propane delivery driver in Alberta. You will transfer, load and deliver propane to customers, keeping a clean truck and using onboard computers to track inventory and print tickets.

You will collaborate with the Dispatcher for routing, perform pre/post inspections, and maintain safety standards. A Class 3 license and ability to lift 60 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School education completed.
• 1–3 years' experience in similar role.
• Class 3 driver's license with clean abstract.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly.
• Excellent customer service and safety mindset.
• Criminal record check clear.

Job description

What you'll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• High School education.
• Minimum of 1-3 years' experience.
• Class 3 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
• Ability to repetitively lift 60 lbs on a regular basis
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Clear criminal record.
• Fluid Hauling is an asset
• Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically on-board truck computers.
• Ability to maintain and conduct the highest standard of safety at all times.

Salary:

$24 - $30 hourly (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
