Job summary

Journey Freight International is seeking an Operations Drayage Specialist for our Mississauga, ON location. This full-time role focuses on managing drayage services for 3PL clients, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring efficient movement of containers through ports and inland hubs.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field and 2–3 years of drayage or freight coordination experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in drayage, transportation, or logistics coordination.
• Familiarity with port operations, container management and drayage processes.
• Experience with TMS or logistics software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end drayage for 3PL clients, including pickup, delivery and routing.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule and track container movements and ensure on-time performance.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, providing updates and ensuring requirements are met.
