Job summary

TAC Sports is seeking a Dramatic Arts Instructor to lead engaging and creative programming focused on acting, theatre, performance, creativity, and self-expression in Toronto. This role suits someone who loves working with children and can create a fun, supportive learning environment.

The program introduces fundamentals through interactive lessons, theatre games, improvisation, storytelling, and performances, helping students build confidence and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with children in education, recreation, theatre, or youth programs.
• Interest or experience in dramatic arts, theatre, acting, or performance.
• Comfortable leading activities in front of groups.
• Energetic, creative, and patient when working with children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to make dramatic arts activities fun and accessible.

Responsibilities

• Lead dramatic arts sessions in a safe, engaging, age-appropriate environment.
• Introduce students to acting, theatre, improvisation, storytelling, and performance.
• Facilitate theatre games and creative activities.
• Help students develop confidence, creativity, self-expression, and stage presence.
• Organize collaborative activities promoting teamwork and communication.
• Provide constructive feedback and assist with rehearsals.
