Job summary

Theatre Alberta is seeking a Drama Intern to support the City of St. Albert's arts programs, including theatre camps for youth ages 3–19. You will assist instructors, help with planning and daily camp operations, and contribute to reporting and administrative tasks.

Ideal candidates will have a background in performing arts, experience with youth, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Part time, evenings and weekends with seasonal hours available.

Qualifications

• Experience in performing arts is preferred.
• Experience working with youth is a definite asset.
• Interns should be team players with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors by teaching music, choreography and improv games.
• Support day-to-day operations of drama camps; participate in planning and reporting.
• Help with setup/breakdown of equipment and classroom logistics.
• Serve as liaison between instructors and administration and assist with data entry.
• Support class planning, delivery, and weekly reporting; handle light admin duties.
