Job summary

Quest Theatre in Calgary is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for its Summer Drama Camp. You will assist the Drama Camp Coordinator in organizing daily operations and supporting staff and participants aged 6–14.

Applicants must be current students returning in fall 2016, with strong organizational, computer, and communication skills. Some experience with props/costumes and first aid training are assets; 40 hours/week for 7 weeks starting June 26, 2016.

Qualifications

• Supervise youth aged 6–14 and contribute to a safe, engaging camp atmosphere.
• Strong organizational skills and computer literacy are required.
• Understand the creative theatre process and have related experience or education.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall organization and smooth operations of Quest Theatre Drama Camp.
• Support staff and participants during daily activities and rehearsals.
• Attend first aid training and assist with props, costumes and sets as needed.
