Job summary

Highwork Limited, based in Val Caron, Ontario, is seeking a Draftsperson to join our team. The role requires self-motivation, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to produce construction drawings using AutoCAD.

You will collaborate with engineers and architects, ensure compliance with building codes, and contribute to projects from concept to completion. College or CEGEP graduates welcome; bilingual applicants preferred; previous experience not required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in two languages
• College or CEGEP qualification required
• Previous experience not mandatory
• Punctual, accountable and reliable

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Able to work with little supervision and maintain quality
• Proficient with AutoCAD and creating construction drawings

Responsibilities

• Create construction drawings from specifications and calculations
• Collaborate with architects and engineers and incorporate new knowledge into drawings
• Ensure final designs comply with building codes and company policies
• Prepare rough sketches and detailed drawings using CAD systems
• Communicate production methods and workflow to team
