Job summary

METRO is seeking a Draftsperson in Ontario to prepare electronic design drawings, fixture plans, and construction details for stores and renovations. You will support internal presentation, approvals, tenders, and construction execution.

Requires a Diploma in Architectural Technology and at least 2 years of drafting experience, with strong AutoCAD skills and knowledge of Revit. Hybrid work, excellent benefits, and opportunities for development are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years drafting experience in retail/store environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary design layouts and fixture plans for internal review.
• Create final fixture plans and design details for new stores, expansions, renovations.
• Assemble and organize project drawings for permits, tenders, approvals and construction.
