Job summary

All Railings, Brampton-based metal and structural steel fabricator, seeks a Drafting Technologist Co-op to translate architectural and structural drawings into fabrication-ready drawings using AutoCAD, under senior staff guidance.

You will interact with estimating, project management, and fabrication teams to ensure drawings are accurate, code-compliant, and support efficient production and installation; opportunity for hands-on learning in a high-profile industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a drafting/CAD design program.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Exposure to Bluebeam Revu is an asset; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with applicable building codes and structural fabrication concepts is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Produce shop and fabrication drawings for miscellaneous metals and structural steel.
• Coordinate drawing markups and revisions using Bluebeam.
• Prepare as-built drawings and field documentation.
• Support project management and fabrication teams to maintain schedule.
