Job summary

Assegai seeks a structural drafting professional to prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings from engineers' designs and mark-ups for concrete and steel structures. You will produce general arrangement and detailed drawings, ensure accuracy, and update drawings as revisions arise.

You will coordinate with engineers and the project team, maintain drawing registers, and assist with tender, construction and as-built drawings as required. Based near Westville or able to commute to the office.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural draughting or detailing.
• Ability to interpret engineering sketches and designs.
• Understanding of structural drawing conventions and detailing.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Based near Westville or able to commute to the office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural drawings using AutoCAD from engineers' designs and markups.
• Produce general arrangement and structural detail drawings for reinforced concrete and steel.
• Amend drawings per engineering comments and revisions.
• Coordinate drawing information with engineers and project team members.
• Maintain drawing registers and project documentation.
• Assist with drawings for tender, construction and as-built purposes.
