Bothwell-Accurate Co. Inc. is seeking a Drafting Project Manager for glazing, leading detailing and shop drawing production in Mississauga. You will coordinate between design concepts, glazing systems, and shop fabrication, ensuring high-quality detailing and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in glazing or building envelope roles, strong Inventor and AutoCAD skills, and experience with BIM workflows. This is a full-time onsite role offering competitive benefits and bi-weekly pay.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Drafting Project Manager to join our team in Mississauga. In this role, you will lead the technical detailing, shop drawing preparation, and multidisciplinary coordination for complex architectural glazing projects. You will act as a pivotal link between design concepts, architectural specifications, structural engineering, and shop floor manufacturing.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative lead designer/technologist with deep expertise in unitized and stick curtain wall systems, storefronts, and architectural metal cladding, possessing strong skills in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

WhatYou’llDo

• Lead and coordinate the preparation of complete architectural shop drawing packages, structural connection details, glass schedules, and anchor layouts.
• UtilizeAutodeskInventorandAutoCADtogenerateparametric3Dmodels,dieprofiles,assemblydrawings,BillsofMaterials(BOMs),andfabricationcutsheetsforshopproduction.
• Coordinate architectural glazing designs with structural, mechanical, civil, and building envelope consultants to resolve site conditions and structural loads.
• Review and respond to RFIs, architectural revisions, addenda, shop drawings, submittals, and construction-phase documentation.
• Assistwithprojectschedules,deliverables,andcoordinationeffortstomeetprojectdeadlines.
• Participateinprojectmeetingswithclients,consultants,contractors,andinternalprojectteams.
• Respondtotechnicalquestionsandassistwiththeresolutionofdesignandconstructionissues.
• Conductsitevisitsandassistwithfieldobservationsanddocumentation.
• SupporttheProjectManageranddraftingteamthroughoutallphasesoftheproject.
• Mentorandprovideguidancetojuniorstaffasappropriate.
• Helpmaintainofficestandards,drawingstandards,templates,andprojectdocumentationprocedures.
• Ensure work complies with applicable building codes, zoning requirements, accessibility standards, and other regulations.

WhatYouBringtotheTeam

• College Diploma or University Degree in Architectural Technology, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of direct professional experience in architectural glazing, curtain wall detailing, or building envelope manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial glazing systems (unitized/stick curtain wall, window wall, skylights, interior glass, metal panels), rainscreen principles, thermal performance, and air/water barrier integration.
• Experiencecoordinatingmultidisciplinaryprojectteamsandconsultants.
• Solidunderstandingofbuildingcodes(OBC/NBC),structuraldeflectioncriteria,andwind-loadconsiderations.
• Excellentorganizational,communication,andproblem-solvingskills.
• Abilitytomanagemultipleprojects,priorities,anddeadlineseffectively.
• Strongattentiontodetailandcommitmenttoquality.
• Abilitytoworkcollaborativelyinateam-orientedenvironment.
• Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills for liaising with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and shop personnel.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (3D parametric assemblies/part modeling) and AutoCAD (2D detailing and layout).
• Experiencewithprojectcollaborationanddocument-managementplatformsisanasset.
• ProficientinMicrosoft365(Excel,Teams,Outlook)andPDFmarkupsoftware(BluebeamRevu).
• FamiliaritywithRevit/BIMcoordinationworkflows.
