Martin Sprocket & Gear, Inc. is seeking a Drafter to support drafting and design tasks using ERP systems, AutoCAD, Inventor, and Microsoft AX. You will produce GA drawings, review BOMs, and coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to align with customer requirements.

This role emphasizes accuracy, project management, and cross-functional teamwork. The successful candidate will have a mechanical background with 1–2 years of drafting experience, strong ERP skills, and proficiency in

Qualifications

• University or college degree in a mechanical-related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of design/drafting experience, ideally in bulk material handling, industrial, or custom steel fabrication.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and production planning.
• Strong understanding of raw materials like sheet, plate, pipe/tube, and round bar.
• Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to organize multiple tasks in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Create items, BOMs, and production routes in Microsoft AX.
• Review BOMs and production routes before QC.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to meet customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during production.
• Produce general arrangement drawings and detailed layouts as needed.
• Work with Sales and Production to meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Manage multiple projects independently with strong self-management.
• Ensure project timelines are met and deliverables are completed on time.
• Engage with multiple departments to understand manufacturing processes.
