Job summary
UNICEF Canada is seeking an Analytics Engineer to shape data and analytics capabilities across fundraising and business teams. This senior role translates business questions into analytical opportunities and delivers insights to improve donor retention, fundraising effectiveness, and decision-making.
The position reports to the Director, Data & Insights and operates in a hybrid model with 2 days in-office per week in Toronto, offering a comprehensive benefits package and three weeks of vacation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in customer/fundraising analytics, business intelligence, or related discipline.
- Strong SQL expertise including optimization and troubleshooting.
- Experience translating business needs into analytical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead donor portfolio analytics to identify retention, upgrade, and acquisition opportunities.
- Develop data integration, automation, and ETL/ELT processes across platforms.
- Collaborate with fundraising leaders to translate priorities into analytical insights.
- Contribute to data architecture, governance, and analytics modernization initiatives.
