Job summary

Oh My Dog Spa and Grooming Corp in Edmonton, AB is seeking a dog handler to bathe and groom animals, monitor their behaviour, and provide customer service on site. The role requires attention to detail and reliable, flexible team players willing to work in a fast-paced grooming shop.

Position is permanent, full-time with 40–44 hours per week at $17.00/hour. Benefits include health and dental plans; start date asap. Two vacancies available; Canadian work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in related field.

Responsibilities

• Bathe and shampoo animals.
• Document animal behaviour.
• Monitor animal behaviour.
• Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures.
• Keep records of animals treated.
• Clean animal ears.
• Clip animal nails.
• Provide customer service.
