Job summary

Fairstone is seeking a role supporting mail and document processing in a hybrid-work environment. The position involves sorting, prepping, scanning, validating and indexing high volumes of mail and faxes, handling negotiable instruments and deposits, and ensuring proper filing and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a post-secondary degree or diploma and at least 1 year of related experience, with opportunities for growth and access to Fairstone Academy and education assistance.

Responsibilities

• Sort, prep, scan, validate, and index high volumes of mail and faxes.
• Handle negotiable instruments including reconciliations and deposits.
• Manage document storage and destruction per guidelines.
• Perform quality control reviews.
• Track incoming and return mail items.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting.
• Receive and distribute cheques/courier items.
• Support cheque processing and reporting tasks.
• Ensure accurate document packaging and file uploads.
