Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Canada is seeking a full-time Document Control Specialist to maintain and manage project documentation across North America. You will ensure accuracy, proper labeling, and timely distribution of documents, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

The role requires at least five years in document control within construction or engineering, strong organization, and excellent communication. Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control, specifically in the construction or engineering industry. Nuclear market is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of construction terminology and processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Train project team members on document control procedures and processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper document control coordination.
  • Manage and maintain a centralized document repository.
  • Maintain a log of all project-related documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate distribution of documents to all necessary parties.
  • Communicate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with document control procedures and processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

Base Compensation:$50,000/yr -$70,000/yr
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
