Job summary

Murata Power Solutions Inc. at the Markham/Toronto area is seeking a Product Data Coordinator to manage product data through its lifecycle, including complex change management and setup of new parts.

You will ensure documentation control within Quality Management System procedures and support data integrity across projects. The role involves coordinating product data in the PLM system, handling engineering changes, and maintaining data readiness for retrieval in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a secondary school diploma plus courses or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain and ISO 9001.
• Basic experience in mechanical/electrical engineering; component level preferred.
• Proficient with PLM/Aras Innovator, ERP and MS Office; Autocad is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage product data from initial setup through obsolescence in the PLM system.
• Receive and process engineering changes in the system.
• Provide product data setup support for boards, subassemblies and documents.
• Analyze change requests and ensure data completion and accuracy.
• Ensure proper data storage and ease of retrieval.

Position Summary

At the Toronto Design Centre, our Product Development teams provide solutions to our customers through the design and development of AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies. In this role, you will:

• Provide product data coordination and management including complex change management, obsolescence, new part setup, and product structuring.
• Provide documentation control of Quality Management System procedures.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage product data from initial set up till obsolescence in our Product Life Management system.
• Receive, and process Engineering changes in system.
• Provide product technical data setup support for printed circuit boards, subassemblies, or other custom parts and documents.
• Analyze change requests and verify data completion.Keep the system’s documentation accurate and handle data integrity issues.
• Ensure proper data storage, readiness and ease of retrieval.

Experience Required

• Secondary school diploma and additional courses, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 2-4 years’ relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain processes and ISO 9001 requirements
• Basic experience in mechanical/electrical engineering – component level is preferred.
• Operational experience with all the following computer application families:
  • PLM (Product life Management) system – Aras Innovator
  • ERP system
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • MCAD Applications (Autocad) knowledge is an asset.
• Ability to plan completion of multiple tasks and allocate time by priority using best methods and procedures to follow.
• Ability to pay attention to details and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively.Ability to work under minimum supervision.

This position is an on-site role, with one flex day per week of remote work.

Compensation Data

Salary range for this role is CAD $53,000/year to $60,000/year. The range listed is based on market data and internal benchmarks. Actual compensation may vary depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
