Job summary

Rocky View Schools (RVS) in Alberta seeks a full-time Divisional Complexity teacher to join our team and work with Divisional Learning Specialists. You must have reliable transport as travel between RVS sites is required.

This role excludes candidates with a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of classroom teaching, specialized expertise in Learning Supports or Inclusive Education, EAL experience, and literacy/numeracy coaching skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years classroom teaching experience.
• Specialized Expertise in Learning Supports or Inclusive Education.
• Experience working with English as an Additional Language learners.
• Literacy or Numeracy coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and MTSS to ensure curriculum access.
• Develop IPPs and positive behaviour support plans for students.
• Execute complex behavioural supports within classrooms.
• Use data-driven progress monitoring to translate needs into strategies.
• Collaborate with teams to coach and model practices for staff development.
