CirrusLabs North Inc. in Oakville, Ontario is seeking a DevOps Manager to lead a software and DevOps team on-site. The role focuses on people leadership, delivery ownership, and governance to ensure high-quality cloud-based solutions.

The position offers a full-time schedule, 40 hours per week, and a salary range of CAD 150,000–170,000 with comprehensive medical, vision, dental, and life insurance benefits. Starts as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• People Management & Delivery Leadership - 25%
• Managed and supervised a team of software engineers and DevOps engineers, including task assignment and performance reviews.
• Established team objectives and defined roles to meet delivery timelines.
• Led onboarding and training to build a scalable, high-performing team.
• Conducted reviews, coaching, and improvement plans.
• Planned Agile delivery activities: sprint planning and backlog prioritization.
• Allocated resources based on priorities and team strengths.
• Primary escalation point for delivery risks and cross-functional dependencies.
• Collaborated with Product, Architecture, and Business stakeholders to translate strategy into execution.
• Delivery Ownership & Operational Management - 20%
• Directed DevOps delivery across multiple projects in the AWS contact center platform.
• Accountable for delivery within scope, schedule, and quality standards.
• Monitored performance, identified risks, and implemented corrective actions.
• Directed incident management to minimize downtime and impact.
• Ensured adherence to policies, security standards, and compliance.
• Primary escalation point for operational issues and timely resolution.
• Strategy, Governance & Decision-Making - 20%
• Developed DevOps strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Established governance for release management and deployment approvals.
