Job summary

Altis Technology in Toronto is seeking an experienced DevOps Specialist to design, build and support CI/CD pipelines across OpenShift, AWS and on-premises platforms. You will work to strengthen cloud environments, improve deployment processes and resolve infrastructure challenges in a large public sector setting.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines, with GitLab CI/CD required.
  • University or college degree in Computer Science or related field, with Software Engineering certification considered an asset.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, OpenShift and Linux environments such as CentOS or Ubuntu.
  • Strong scripting experience using Python, Bash, Java, JavaScript or Node.js.
  • Experience with Git, Ansible, CloudFormation and ytt, along with Docker, Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience building or consuming APIs, applying web architecture and security best practices, and supporting systems integration using Linux shell scripting.
  • Strong problem-solving, defect tracking and communication skills, with public sector experience preferred.

Location: Toronto, ON, Hybrid, 3 days on-site per week

About the Opportunity

Are seeking an experienced DevOps Specialist to support a large public sector environment focused on building reliable, secure and scalable digital solutions. Youll play a key role in designing, developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines that build, test, scan, package and deploy applications across OpenShift, cloud and on-premises enterprise platforms.

Working alongside technical and project teams, youll help strengthen cloud environments, improve deployment processes and resolve complex infrastructure challenges.
