Job summary

IGNITE Fitness Holdings is seeking a District Manager to lead a group of Planet Fitness locations across the Calgary district. The role focuses on driving district sales, profits, and exceptional member service through strong leadership and strategic execution.

You will oversee staffing, performance reviews, budgeting, and coordination with corporate partners to ensure unified brand standards and growth across clubs. Travel is required to manage multiple sites and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in general manager role in multi-unit retail
• Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams

Responsibilities

• Analyze and manage district financial results to maximize profit while maintaining member and team satisfaction
• Monitor progress toward district goals and align staffing accordingly
• Lead club visits to evaluate performance and uphold brand standards
• Hire, promote, and manage employee performance
• Ensure clubs are open on schedule and adequately staffed
• Provide exceptional customer service and align with Planet Fitness culture
• Travel to all clubs in the district; periodic overnight stays
