Job summary

Construction PCL Inc. in Montréal, Quebec, is seeking a District HRPD Coordinator to support student programs, recruit­ment and HRPD processes across the district.

You will partner with HRPD teams, manage onboarding for early career hires, coordinate reporting, and help implement district initiatives while upholding confidentiality and strong stakeholder communication. Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline preferred.
  • Working towards an HR designation is preferred.
  • Some co-op/internship or relevant experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of HRPD principles, practices, procedures and employment legislation.
  • Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to research and analyze information.
  • Able to work independently or in a team within a highly matrixed organization.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
  • Good networking skills to develop and maintain HR networks.
  • Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the district’s student program; plans and organizes college recruiting activities, orientations, events, and interviews.
  • Supports HRPD recruitment and onboarding practices for entry-to-mid-level positions.
  • Provides administrative support to HRPD programs and policy administration as the first point of contact.
  • Participates in district HRPD strategic planning and district-level projects or initiatives.
  • Assists with research and general administrative support pertaining to total rewards.
  • Provides administrative support for career management processes and systems.
  • Maintains and prepares scheduled and ad hoc reporting as needed.
  • Assists with coordination and administration of training and facilitation plans/programs.
  • Provides implementation support to district HRPD manager on corporate and regional initiatives.
