Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. is seeking a District Financial Manager in Delta, BC to provide financial and operational leadership across four locations. The role focuses on customer engagement, process improvement, and profit recapture within district operations.

Key responsibilities include driving collections, managing P&L and invoicing, mentoring staff, and collaborating with customers to meet district goals. Requires strong finance background and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience with billing, collections, receivables, or other finance related functions.
• 3 years of supervisory experience highly preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• AS400 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Customers / Support Sales to highlight delivery of services and improve billing experience.
• Lead role for critical customers at new, add, or replace points.
• Develop intra-district infrastructure for non-standard deals and accurate billing maintenance.
• Plan, organize and prepare the Business Plan with district staff (sales, vehicle inputs, payrolls, etc.).
• Train and mentor associates new to the plan and planning process.
• Push vehicle contribution, P&L, and process analysis and reporting to the DM.
• Handle customer-facing financial operations: billing, collections, receivables.
• Review inventory balances and conduct physical counts.
• Support company initiatives and spend time at district locations to collaborate with Service, Admin, and Rental teams.
