The Township of Muskoka Lakes is seeking a District Building Inspector to conduct technical inspections of buildings during construction, alterations, or repairs. This role ensures compliance with various bylaws and involves significant interaction with contractors and owners. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in building construction and relevant certifications.

Main Purpose & Function
The District Building Inspector conducts technical inspections of buildings during construction, alteration, or repair to ensure compliance with plans and bylaws such as Building, Zoning, and Sign By-laws.

A Police Record Check and a clear five-year ICBC driver’s abstract are required. Applicants must submit these documents within 14 days of posting.
