Job summary

UPS in Burlington, Ontario is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure inventory accuracy, and maintain safety and quality standards across the site. The role focuses on directing inbound, storage and outbound activities while coordinating with inventory control and shipping teams to meet performance targets and customer expectations.

You will schedule staff, assign tasks, monitor attendance, resolve shipment discrepancies, and enforce regulatory compliance.

• Good computer skills and experience in a technology-based radio frequency environment

• Participates in improving warehouse efficiency and oversees housekeeping, safety, security, machine maintenance, layout, stocking and inventory control

Job Description

This position supervises many of the daily activities for an account, department, or station of a warehouse operation. This position ensures performance goals are met, maintains inventory accuracy, adheres to quality standards, and effectively manages staff. This position supervises employees who oversee inbound flow, inventory control, and outbound flow activities. This position manages operational efficiency and ensures work completion in an operational area.

Additional Criteria

• Job Type: Full Time / Contract- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Job Location: 4150 Mainway BURLINGTON, ON L7L 0A6
• Shift: Monday to Friday (4 PM to 12:30 AM) - Must be available to work flexible hours, as scheduling may vary based on operational needs - Required.
• Salary: $35 CAD/hour

Qualifications

• Health & Safety knowledge of regulations and workers compensation processes
• Secondary school graduation - Required
• Minimum 1-2 years warehouse related experience
• Supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education, experience and training an asset
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, time management, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Good computer skills and experience in a technology-based radio frequency environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Proficiency in the English language
• Bachelor's degree or International equivalent - Preferred
