Job summary

The Dufresne Group is seeking a Distribution Supervisor (Evening Shift) for the Winnipeg Distribution Centre at 230 Panet Road. You will supervise and train the distribution team to meet company goals while ensuring an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key duties include planning daily warehouse activities, maintaining health and safety standards, and overseeing inbound/outbound operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a distribution/warehouse team.
• Ability to plan, organize and supervise daily warehouse activities.
• Strong training, supervision and performance evaluation skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse settings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operations.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the distribution team members.
• Observe health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe warehouse.
• Maintain warehouse and machinery; ensure equipment is serviced and workspace is tidy.
• Manage inbound/outbound operations of the Distribution Centre and off-site facilities.

We are currently seeking aDistribution Supervisor (Evening Shift)for ourWinnipeg Distribution Centrelocated at230 Panet Road.

As a Distribution Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising and training the distribution team members to meet the company’s strategic, competitive, and internal needs while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

As the Distribution Supervisor you will:

• Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in the daily warehouse operations.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the assigned distribution team members.
• Observe the health and safety regulations while maintaining the warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Maintain warehouse and machinery, ensuring the equipment is serviced when needed, and the workspace is always kept clean and tidy.
• Manage and facilitate the inbound/outbound operations of the Distribution Centre and other off-site storage facilities when required.

Success Metrics:

• Effectively plan, organize and participate in daily warehouse activities.
• Optimize training, supervising and evaluation of team member’s performance.
• Ensure health and safety regulations. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse. Part of this includes ensuring warehouse machinery and equipment are properly maintained and serviced.
• Manage and facilitate in an efficient way in/outbound operations, including off-site storage when required
