Job description

Summary

The Distribution Services Coordinator is responsible for receiving, distributing, and shipping mails and packages.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, courier envelopes, packages, and boxes.
  2. Prepare and determine shipping methods for outgoing mail and packages. Weigh outgoing mail, apply appropriate postage, and prepare shipping documentation.
  3. Deliver office supplies received from suppliers and handle returns as requested.
  4. Deliver courier packages, letters, and other items to tenants.
  5. Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing packages, including waste and recycling collections.
  6. Manage records for all incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  7. Book and manage dates for main floor conference rooms and East Lounge events.
  8. Set up meeting and conference rooms according to tenant requests.
  9. Ensure the mailroom remains organized.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned for specific locations.
Knowledge and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus up to 1 year of clerical/mailroom work experience.
  • Ability to process volumes of mail and packages accurately and timely.
  • Ability to perform manual physical labor, including walking and sorting, for sustained periods.
  • Ability to lift heavy packages up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate mailroom equipment.
  • Basic computer skills to maintain records of mail and packages.
