Schedule: Monday to Friday, with evening and weekend rotations

Reporting to the Dispatch Manager, you will be responsible for communicating load plans to drivers and customers, ensuring all customer requirements are met. An eye for detail is crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Communicate load plans to drivers and customers.
• Ensure drivers have proper instructions to perform duties safely.
• Listen to driver concerns and act appropriately.
• Meet all customer requirements and communicate any changes immediately.
• Keep the dispatch system up to date.
• Collaborate with load planners.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency for the company and customers.
• Ensure trailer interior washes are completed when required.
• Record all orders and trip events accurately and promptly in TMW.
• Audit TMW reports for compliance when applicable.
• Record service failure reports in TMW and notify the Branch Manager or designate.
• Ensure drivers have adequate time to perform duties safely within hours of work regulations.
• Ensure drivers and equipment meet regulatory and corporate compliance standards.
• Assign proper equipment based on jurisdiction and job requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken, to communicate with customers and departments outside Québec.
• Related experience: 2-5 years
• Experience with various systems, preferably TMW.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Post-secondary education in transportation is an asset.
• High school diploma required.
