Charger Logistics Inc. is expanding its Brampton office and seeking a motivated logistics professional to coordinate inbound and outbound freight.

The role focuses on delivering reliable service, building strong relationships with customers, brokers, and carriers, and optimizing routes and rates across North America. You will analyze performance data, negotiate rates, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining a proactive stance on service risks.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in trucking or dispatch experience.
• Background in Supply Chain Management or business-related field.
• Proven customer service experience in logistics.
• Knowledge of North American transportation geography is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office; ability to learn new software quickly.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary contact for customers, coordinating inbound/outbound freight to meet daily priorities and weekly targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, brokers, and carriers; address service risks and ensure timely communication.
• Analyze lane data, on-time performance and costs to negotiate rates with customers and third-party carriers.
• Communicate with customers, brokers, and carriers to resolve pricing, service level, delivery, and documentation discrepancies.
• Direct and organize logistics activities: obtain shipment rates, negotiate with providers, select 3PLs, track shipments, resolve quality/quantity/schedule issues.
• Verify and troubleshoot shipping or customs documentation (PODs, BOL, carrier confirmations).
• Proactively communicate service risks to customers to provide proper resolutions.

We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating inbound and outbound freight to meet daily priorities and weekly transportation targets while ensuring a high level of service.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, brokers, and carriers to proactively address service risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely, transparent communication.
• Analyze lane data, on-time performance and costs to effectively negotiate rates with customers and third-party carriers to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
• Communicate with customers, brokers, and carriers to resolve discrepancies related to pricing, service levels, delivery schedules, and documentation.
• Direct and organize logistics activities such as obtaining shipment rates, negotiating with logistics service providers, selecting 3PL partners, tracking and expediting shipments, and solving any discrepancy of quality, quantity, and schedule.
• Verify and troubleshoot any issues in shipping or customs documentation including, but not limited to, PODs, BOL and carrier confirmation.
• Proactively communicate service risks to customers to provide proper resolution

• 3+ years of experience in trucking industry and/or dispatch experience.
• Educational background in Supply Chain Management (or other relevant area such as Business)
• Dedicated experience providing customer service in a similar work environment
• Knowledge of the transportation industry and North American geography are considered assets.
• Positive attitude with good people skills.
• Good command of MS Office (Excel and Word) with an ability to quickly learn new software.
