Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in linehaul, transportation, logistics, dispatch, or related operations.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with TMS/WMS/ERP systems preferred.
• Hands-on experience with coding, scripting, programming, or automation.
• Experience with SQL, Python, VBA, Power BI, or similar tools is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily linehaul schedules, routes, carrier movements, and shipment activities.
• Monitor shipments, identify delays or exceptions, and coordinate resolutions with drivers and carriers.
• Maintain transportation and shipment data in TMS, ERP, and other systems.
• Analyze data and prepare reports to monitor service levels, transit times, capacity, and performance.
• Develop Excel-based tools, reports, dashboards, and automated processes to improve efficiency.
• Use SQL, Python, VBA, PowerShell, or similar tools to automate tasks and support data analysis.
• Identify data issues and work with IT to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Support process Improvement initiatives and reduce manual work, errors, and costs.

The ideal candidate has experience in logistics/transportation and a strong technical aptitude, including exposure to scripting, programming, or process automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily linehaul schedules, routes, carrier movements, and shipment activities.
• Monitor shipments, identify delays or exceptions, and coordinate timely resolutions with drivers, carriers, terminals, and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate transportation and shipment information within TMS, ERP, and other operational systems.
• Analyze operational data and prepare reports to monitor service levels, transit times, capacity, and performance.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based tools, reports, dashboards, and automated processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Use SQL, Python, VBA, PowerShell, or similar scripting/programming tools to automate repetitive tasks and support data analysis.
• Identify system or data issues and work with IT/technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Support process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to reduce manual work, errors, and operational costs.
