Job summary

Johnson Controls in Canada is seeking a Service Administrative Coordinator to support the service team with ticketing, procurement, and client communications. This on-site role offers a competitive salary and a full benefits package from day one, plus opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required plus 1–2 years of related work experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with tact and persistence.
• Ability to prioritize work based on financial impact to business goals.
• Experience with basic project accounting or costing principles is desirable.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, ACCESS, Desktop Publishing and internet applications.
• Capable of independent work with solid organizational and detail‑oriented skills.
• Must be available to work any shift; on-site position.

How you will do it

• Monthly/weekly Reporting of Service Tickets for local customers.
• Assist Service Manager and Service Team leaders in coordinating Service department tasks.
• Create POs to vendors to purchase parts needed for service tickets, and for local stock.
• Work with the Installation Teams on the handing over process for completed projects.
• Collect and analyze data from Service tickets to measure the efficiency and improve the quality of our services.
• Follow up with the customers and collect their feedback.
• Gathering all necessary information for final close-out documents.
• Perform administrative functions including but not limited to answering phones, correspondence with customers, filing, and other duties.

This is a 24-hour call center with scheduled shifts. Hours may vary between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM, so flexibility is required.

What we look for

• Required College Diploma preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required, plus one to two years of related work experience, preferably within a service/sales, or technical work environment.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.
• Must have the ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of projects, tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.
• Ability to prioritize work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals.
• Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principals is desired.
• Must have proficient computer skills within the following applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, ACCESS, Desktop Publishing and Internet business application usage.
• Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and demonstrate solid organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Availability to work any shift is required.
• On-site position.

Salary and Benefits

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $52,000-$65,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
