Job summary

Oliver & Bonacini on the 68th floor of 40 King West offers Cirrus views and a premier private dining backdrop. Our Dishwashers keep the kitchen running by cleaning and putting away dishes, glassware and utensils during events and service.

Reporting to the Back of House Management Team, you’ll run dish machines, wash glassware, stock supplies, and maintain a clean, organized dish area. This role supports the kitchen team and adheres to WHMIS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced, high-volume environment requires strong work ethic.
• Detail-oriented with a clean, organized workspace.
• Team-first attitude and willingness to help where needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 5 lbs.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays per event schedule.
• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Run the dish machines efficiently, especially during busy service and events.
• Wash and polish all glassware and flatware.
• Clean and put away all dishes, utensils, pots and pans.
• Clean and sanitize dish mats, dish carts and dish racks.
• Help receive and stock supplies and products.
• Handle and store cleaning products safely, following WHMIS guidelines.
• Keep the dish area clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping and removing garbage.
• Support the kitchen team with other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Our Dishwashers keep the kitchen running smoothly behind the scenes. Reporting to the Back of House Management Team, they clean and put away all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots, and keep the dish area and dish machines clean and organized.
