Position Overview : The Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. Responsibilities include ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use, supporting efficient kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing area.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a sanitary work environment.
• Assist in trash disposal and recycling procedures.
• Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation and other tasks.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and tools are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as mopping floors and cleaning surfaces.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the kitchen manager.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
