Job summary

Compass Group Canada is hiring a Dishwasher in Edmonton. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils to maintain a clean kitchen and sanitary work areas.

Role includes light food prep, coffee service for residents, and general duties in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Training will cover safety standards and proper cleaning procedures.

Qualifications

• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines preferred
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils based on procedures and assigned equipment
• Polish silver, sweep & mop floors
• Maintain the dish and kitchen area and ensure equipment is clean, in working condition and complies with safety standards
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans
• Assists in loading, unloading and transfer supplies, products and equipment between storage and work areas
• Assist with light food preparation, making and serving coffee for the residents
• Other duties and tasks as assigned

As a Dishwasher, You Will

• Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils based on procedures and assigned equipment

About You
