Pursuit in Canada is looking for a reliable dishwasher to join our team. You will manage dishwashing, ensure clean presentation of dining ware, and support line cooks as needed in a busy kitchen.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work with a friendly, safety‑conscious team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all dishwashing tasks including sorting, pre-washing, soaking, loading/unloading dishwasher, and proper storage of utensils.
• Clean kitchen equipment such as sinks, stoves, and fridges.
• Keep floors clean and dry at all times.
• Remove garbage and recycling to proper bins.
• Unload deliveries and store items appropriately.
• Maintain clean and orderly kitchen work areas and utensils.
• Support line cook team during non-dishwashing periods as needed.
• Remain calm during high-volume periods and handle unusual events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and manage all dishwashing needs including; sorting, pre-washing, providing pre-soak solution and bins, loading and unloading dishwasher, proper storage of flatware, glassware, plateware and kitchen utensils and cooking ware
• Clean kitchen equipment; sinks, stoves, fridges, etc
• Ensure floor is clean and dry at all times
• Remove garbage and recycling to appropriate bins when needed
• Unload pop, food and other items and carry to proper storage areas as assigned
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
• During non -dishwashing duty periods, may be assigned to support the line cook team in any food prep or line production required
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
• Other duties as assigned

The starting wage for this role is $18.50/hour.
