Job summary

Shannex Incorporated in Riverview, NB, is seeking a Casual Dishwasher for the Parkland Riverview - Royal Court team. You will process dishware, maintain sanitation, buss tables, and keep kitchen areas clean while supporting dining services for seniors.

The role requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. High-school diploma or GED is required; criminal record check, may assist with CPR/First Aid and Food Safety training; lifting 22 kg and standing for long periods are

• High-school diploma or GED.
• Flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Clear criminal record check upon hire.
• CPR & Emergency First Aid Certification and/or Basic Food Safety Training would be considered an asset.
• Able to follow and maintain strict cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
• Able to lift 22 kg and stand for long periods.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Previous experience with seniors in a Retirement Living or Long-Term Care environment would be considered an asset.
• Passions for healthcare and ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations and care.

Responsibilities

• Process all dishware and maintain sanitation of dish machine, sinks, and storage areas according to guidelines.
• Return clean dishware to storage areas for use by Culinary Services.
• Bus dining tables and catering areas as required.
• Maintain kitchen and kitchen aide areas to standard of cleanliness.
• All other duties as assigned.

About The Opportunity

• Processing all dishware and maintaining sanitation of dish machine, dish sinks, and food preparation and storage areas according to established cleaning guidelines;
• Returning clean dishware to appropriate storage areas for use by Culinary Services employees;
• Bussing of tables in the dining rooms and catering areas as required;
• Maintaining cleanliness to standard in the kitchen and kitchen aide areas;
• All other duties as assigned.

About You

• A high-school diploma or GED;
• Ability to work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays;
• Ability to provide a clear criminal record check upon hire;
• CPR & Emergency First Aid Certification and/or Basics Food Safety Training/ Food Handler's Course would be considered an asset;
• Able to follow and maintain strict cleaning and sanitizing procedures ;
• Ability to lift 22kg and stand for long periods of time;
• Withstand hot and humid conditions;
• Reliable transporation to work;
