Summary

A dishwasher/wares wash person will manually load used dishware and cutlery into automatic dishwashing machinery. Further, they will monitor incoming used dishware and cutlery for recyclable items and linens and unload clean dishware items and stack accordingly in corresponding racks.

Own transportation is an asset as public transport is limited in the area.

Responsibilities

• Work 8 hours rotative shifts that will include weekdays, weekends and holidays
• Work overtime when required, will be frequent during busy season and holiday rotation
• Arrive to work on-time and be punctual, cross-training required in different departments
• Pass a criminal background check
• Complete paperwork
• Communicate with supervisors and co-workers
• Follow directions and specs provided by the customers

• Work in a safe manner and follow all safety policies posted
• Push and pull trolleys and other equipment as required
• Must have a discipline free and excellent attendance record

Environmental Requirements and Working Conditions

• Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise
• Subject to cold temperatures (ranging from +10 degrees Celsius to at or below 0-degrees Celsius)
• Subject to hot temperatures
• Works with chemicals and industrial cleaning materials
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to thirty-five (35) pounds
• This is a physically demanding position - Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours

Rate Of Pay: CA$20.85 per hour
