Come join the Outback family as a Dishwasher, where you will be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of dishes and small wares at the restaurant. Dishwashers are also responsible for trash disposal and linen bag removal. A Dishwasher will ensure that washed items meet the required temperature criteria. You’ll help provide each customer with an AUS-SOME dining experience by showcasing our food on perfectly clean plates and silverware.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization and flow while washing dishes and utensils
• Practice food safety and sanitation
• Restock kitchen and cook line as needed
• Perform general cleaning of the restaurant
• Manage pace and organization of dish execution
• Understand and operate the dish machine and all chemical components
• Change out water and chemicals as needed
• Keep floors, plates, and smallware clean and dry
• Inspect food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas for safety compliance

Requirements

• 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant (preferred)
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Team player
• Availability to work various shifts, including opens, swings, and closes
• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs
• Good vision (distance, close, color, depth, peripheral) and focus adjustment
• Manual dexterity to handle objects and tools
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
