Job summary

Canadian Tire Corporation seeks a Senior Disaster Recovery Lead to design, plan, and execute end-to-end recovery exercises across applications and infrastructure. You will define scenarios, dependencies, and criteria, coordinating with owners and IT teams to ensure readiness and approved runbooks.

You will develop methods, dashboards, and executive reports, drive validation of RTOs/RPOs, and lead post-exercise reviews with corrective actions to strengthen resilience across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of disaster recovery or business continuity experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• ITIL Intermediate certification.
• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar DR-specific certification.
• Hands-on experience developing DR plans and executable recovery runbooks and leading large cross-functional DR exercises.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end DR exercise design, planning, coordination, and execution with defined recovery scenarios and criteria.
• Coordinate with application owners and IT teams to ensure recovery coverage and readiness.
• Develop and improve DR planning methodologies, runbook templates, and documentation standards.
• Identify and implement automation for repeatable recovery steps and readiness checks.
