Job summary

Fidelity Canada seeks a Director, IS Transfer Agency and Workflow Systems Development to lead development and modernization of Fidelity Investment Canada Transfer Agency systems (AXIS, NEXUS) and supporting workflow applications. The successful candidate will articulate and execute advanced technology solutions, applying AI to enhance business outcomes and client servicing.

They will drive engineering practices, cybersecurity awareness, and strategic planning across teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience.
10+ years in an operational role with experience in Transfer Agency and/or Workflows.
5+ years in a leadership role within IT or equivalent role in Operations.
Experience in the mutual fund industry is a strong asset.
Experience working with FundServ is an asset.

Responsibilities

Lead group of managers and scrum teams responsible for development.
Manage department budgets, resourcing capacity and vendor relationships.
Create department strategic plans and roadmaps and oversee progress.
Incorporate AI, automation and emerging technologies into roadmaps and execution.
Align technology services with business goals in coordination with IS Directors & Managers.
