Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Human Resources, the Director, Total Rewards is accountable for NAIT’s total rewards portfolio including compensation, benefits, payroll, pension, job evaluation/classification, recognition, and total rewards analytics.
This position provides strategic and operational leadership for NAIT’s total rewards portfolio to support institutional priorities, employee experience, fiscal stewardship, and compliance.
The role leads the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of compensation, benefits, pension and retirement programs, payroll, job evaluation and classification, recognition frameworks, pay administration, and total rewards analytics. The Director leads an approximately 12-13 person team of professionals, including the Payroll Manager, and is accountable for the budget and resource planning of the total rewards function.
This position is a member of the Human Resources leadership team and contributes to the vision, strategy, priorities, and overall effectiveness of the HR function at NAIT.

The compensation range for this job posting is : $137,462.37 - $182,117.48
